Programming HMI operator panels

Non-intuitive or outdated HMI panels are a daily source of problems:

Operators waste minutes (and hours over the year) searching for the right screen
Incorrect readings and manual data entry → mistakes, poor decisions, damaged product batches
Lack of alarms at the right moment or a flood of false alarms → fatigue and ignoring real threats
Difficult changes to recipes, parameters, or sequences → long downtime with each new batch or process adjustment
No diagnostics on the panel → machine failure = panic, a service call, and several hours of downtime
High risk of human errors when fatigued or at night → rejects, downtime, contractual penalties
